Throughout my career I have pursued many creative paths and passions, all of which have molded me into the woman I am today.
I began as a student at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. From there I became many things: designer, art director, wife, mom, health & wellness nut, keto foodie, cat lover, dreamer, explorer, traveler, gardener and lover of all things blooming. If I’m out of the studio, you can surely find me with my family or in the dirt in my garden. All of these endeavors and experiences have led me to where I am today; founder and lead designer at CSDesign Studio.

CSDesign Studio was founded twenty-four years ago by seasoned design veteran Chris Swanson.
“I am a passionate, award-winning, multi-talented designer, with broad experience in creative direction, art direction, design and production. Throughout my career, I have worked for various agencies and design firms, including national and regional client lists. Located in central Pennsylvania, CSDesign Studio was founded to connect directly on a more personal and intimate level with specific brands. Since then we have established strong relationships with a diverse clientele.”

Chris worked on several projects for us at Henne Jewelers for the past 1-2 years.
We had been updating the Henne brand to be fresh and lively, and to use our own customers in our ads. Chris was able to grasp our vision and design ads that were consistent with our brand and added her own flair. I always loved her font and color choices! She was quick to produce
